What data North Photography Ltd collects, why, and your rights.
Controller
North Photography Ltd, Royal Road, Pointe aux Canonniers, Mauritius, info@northphotography.mu. We comply with the Data Protection Act 2017 of the Republic of Mauritius.
Data collected
Orders: name, e-mail, phone, address, country and your message.
Contact form: name, e-mail, phone (optional), message, and the sender's IP address (abuse protection).
Newsletter: name, e-mail and WhatsApp number, with your dated consent.
Card payment: your card details are entered on the secure MIPS page; we only receive the payment result and its reference.
Purposes
Processing and delivering your order, issuing invoices, answering your messages, sending the newsletter if you asked for it, and meeting our accounting obligations. We never sell or rent your data.
Recipients
Our team; our accounting tool (invoices); our e-mail provider (OVH); MIPS and MCB for card payments; the courier for a delivery. The website and its data are hosted by OVH.
Retention
Order data and invoices are kept for the period required by accounting law. Carts that were never ordered are deleted after 30 days, photos uploaded for printing and never ordered after 7 days. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.
Cookies and storage
The site uses no advertising cookies and no audience-measurement tools. Your browser only keeps your cart, your language and your display currency. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which thereby receives your device's IP address.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, and withdraw your consent: write to info@northphotography.mu. You may also contact the Data Protection Office of Mauritius.
